Unfortunately, I do not know what happened to season 2. I know we had a lot of great busts – but it’s really up to MTV to decide what to do with them.

Your best bet is to try and contact MTV directly, or the producer who contacted you. Sorry I can’t be more help.

Aditya – Did you reinstall the version of XP that came with the computer? If not, you may need to install all the IBM specific drivers. Here is a good link that will get you started:

That page should have all the drivers you need.

Hi,

My tablet function does not seem to work anymore, after re-installing the XP 2005 tablet.

The remedy given by vince, also does not seem to be doing it job, as most of the options are not available under the control panel as mentioned.

What may I be missing?

Oh yeah, and absolutely make sure you run the utility to make recovery disks in case your hard drive or recovery partition are hosed too!

R&R is pretty cool, if used properly, and regularly.
However, There are a lot of people that don’t understand the difference between the IBM/Lenovo R&R application, the R&R boot system, and the BIOS.

It’s important to understand this before you use R&R, and more importantly, before you _need_ to use it.

The first thing any IBM/Lenovo user should do after setting up their system is to run both ThinkVantage System Update 3, and Windows update. Do the required reboots etc. then, run Rescue & Recovery and make a backup. Then, do another one to an external drive. It’s up to you if you want to include your applications in this initial backup or do another backup after you install them.

Now run regular R&R backups, or let it run on a schedule (it has that feature, to run automatically)

If you ever have a system problem, you’ll be covered and able to recover from most any situation.

At some point I might do a post that talks about how we approach the show – but basically it goes like this:

Each story usually happens over the course of 30 minutes to a couple of hours, then we go back an interview you and the officer which results in a total of between 2 and 10 hours of footage that is cut down to just 6 to 8 MINUTES when it airs.

We have to cut out a lot of stuff in order to keep things interesting and focus on what we decide is the core storyline. Unfortunately we end up with a lot of stuff that never is able to make it to air because we simply don’t have enough time to include it.

We have been including some of those things in the credits and on the MTV site as outtakes, but at the end of the day some things end up on the cutting room floor.

hey i was on Busted and i was wondering how do yall pick which footage to use ? In our episode the generator almost fell off of our boat onto the sheriffs boat but that part wasn’t on the show . thanks

Does the new firmware still permit tethering. From what I understand the ppc 6700 is the only phone where tethering is permitted with the simple power vision plan. Does this change with this firmware?

Also for the most part SDHC does not require a hardware update. IIRC its purely software. IE its a matter of the vendor (or someone else) writing the driver for it.

are there any NON sdhc 4gb cards like there is for sd?
