Unfortunately, I do not know what happened to season 2. I know we had a lot of great busts - but it's really up to MTV to decide what to do with them.

Your best bet is to try and contact MTV directly, or the producer who contacted you. Sorry I can't be more help.

At some point I might do a post that talks about how we approach the show - but basically it goes like this:

Each story usually happens over the course of 30 minutes to a couple of hours, then we go back an interview you and the officer which results in a total of between 2 and 10 hours of footage that is cut down to just 6 to 8 MINUTES when it airs.

We have to cut out a lot of stuff in order to keep things interesting and focus on what we decide is the core storyline. Unfortunately we end up with a lot of stuff that never is able to make it to air because we simply don't have enough time to include it.

We have been including some of those things in the credits and on the MTV site as outtakes, but at the end of the day some things end up on the cutting room floor.

I encourage you to take a look at the producer blogs here:
http://remotecontrol.mtv.com/category/shows/busted/

for more inside info on how we make the show.

Thanks for watching!
